Introduction
Alright friends, the biggies are here! Yes, the Google Pixel 10 series has officially arrived with the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and the Pixel 10 Pro XL. Starting at ₹79,999 for the base model, ₹1,09,999 for the Pro, and ₹1,24,999 for the Pro XL, this lineup is no small deal. If you’ve ever thought Pixel phones were only about clean software, the Pixel 10 proves that hardware, performance, and AI magic matter just as much.
What do you get with the Google Pixel 10?
When you open the box, don’t expect too many extras. Just like me, you’ll find a USB Type C to Type C cable, a SIM ejector tool, and some tiny documentation. That’s it Phone, cable, documentation & sim card tool.
In all the boxes, whether it’s the Pro, Pro XL or the base, they all have the same things. no fancy case, no charger. Simple, clean, and minimalistic. Google clearly wants you to focus on the phone itself.
Design

The Pixel 10 series comes with a satin finish metal frame, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, and that signature camera bar we all know. The color options are beautiful Obsidian, Frost, Indigo, and Lemongrass for the base, while the Pro models get Moonstone, Jade, Porcelain, and Obsidian. If you’re someone who cares about how a phone feels in your hand, you’ll love the balance of weight and grip here. I personally loved the Pro variant at 207 grams it just feels right.
Display
If you’re like me and spend hours on your phone, the display is going to blow your mind. The Pixel 10 Pro XL offers a massive 6.8 inch Quad HD LTPO panel with a dynamic refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. The base Pixel 10 still gives you an excellent 6.3 inch FHD display at 120Hz. Peak brightness hits 3300 nits on the Pro XL and 3000 nits on the Pro so sunlight readability is top class. Watching Netflix, YouTube, or gaming? Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
Google’s new Tensor G5 Processor
It comes with a Tensor G5 chipset with an AnTuTu score of 1.4-1.5M. The new Tensor G5 chipset is at the heart of the Pixel 10 series.
So it’s similar to the scores of 8S Gen 3 & 8S Gen 4. It’s a flagship level phone with flagship pricing, but that’s the performance you get.
This performance is good enough for 99% of the tasks, but that’s what the Tensor G5 is. It comes with 12GB RAM & 256GB base variant with LPDDR5X RAM type & UFS 4.0 storage type. The Pro XL comes with 16GB RAM & 256GB base variant. I think it should’ve been 512GB.
Real world gaming performance
You can easily play BGMI at 120FPS. We played Genshin Impact with 51-52FPS consistency. There are thermals, you get 40-41 degrees temperature if you play for a long time. It’s decent, not excellent & not very bad.
Cameras
Here’s where things get super exciting. All variants now come with three cameras including a telephoto lens! The Pixel 10 Pro packs a 50MP main, 48MP ultrawide, and 48MP 5X telephoto with a 42MP selfie camera. Photos come out sharp, dynamic, and full of detail. Low light shots are breathtaking with Google’s Night Sight. And for video lovers, you now get 8K recording on the Pro models and AI tools like audio magic eraser and video enhancer. I’ve tried the portraits, and while edge detection sometimes misses a beat, the results are still stunning.
AI Features That Redefine Smartphones
Now, let’s talk about the real Pixel magic AI. With Gemini Live, you can literally point your phone at something, and it’ll identify it instantly. Screenshots are smarter with context aware metadata, so you can revisit a website directly months later. The camera app even acts like a coach, guiding you for better composition. And features like Magic Eraser, Pixel Studio editing, Circle to Search, and AI-driven video/audio editing make the Pixel 10 feel like a glimpse of the future.
Battery & Charging
The battery setup is solid 4970mAh on the Pixel 10, 4870mAh on the Pro, and 5200mAh on the Pro XL. Charging speeds differ 30W wired on the base and Pro, 45W on the Pro XL, with wireless charging going up to 25W. Oh, and don’t forget PixelSnap, Google’s version of MagSafe style magnetic charging. All 3 phones support PixelSnap. Super handy!
